Obituary

HEPPES, Linda, age 68, of Bellbrook, and formerly of Mentor Headlands, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024.

Linda retired from River Valley Credit Union after 20 years of service.

Kind, caring, and giving, Linda was a provider at heart. She was an exceptional cook. Family and friends were particularly fond of her macaroni salad and baked goods. Holiday gatherings were her favorite, especially Christmas and Thanksgiving, when she would decorate the home and make an elaborate meal for her loved ones. Linda had a passion for crafts. She used her passion for crafting, crocheting, knitting, and cross-stitching to create special gifts for family and friends. Her countless baby blankets are a testament to her thoughtfulness, as she would rush to the store to buy materials as soon as she heard of a new pregnancy. Panama City Beach held a special place in Linda’s heart. She and her husband created many memories at their Florida home, visiting three times a year. Among many things, Linda will be remembered for her vast collection of craft supplies, her fondness for frog decor, and her love of coffee.

Linda was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Heppes; her parents, Richard and Clarabell Arnold; one brother, Howard Arnold; and one nephew, Robbie Arnold. She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Michael; two sons, Michael Heppes, Jr. and Jason (Tracy) Heppes; three grandchildren, Matthew, Melissa, and Austin; one sister, Mary, and one nephew, John Arnold.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 25, at David’s Cemetery in Dayton. Conner and Koch Funeral Home is serving the family. Condolences at www.connerandkoch.com.
