Obituary

Linda Sue Foster Bush
October 25, 1957 - April 10, 2025

Linda Sue Foster Bush, 67, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 10, 2025 in Savannah, Georgia.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 25, 1957, Linda’s life was full of accomplishments. She was admired and respected in every path she took and was a wonderful role model to her daughter and son. Her work ethic, commitment, and responsibility were qualities she carried in all she did.

Linda attended Greene Joint Vocational School and graduated Xenia High School in 1975. After graduation, Linda worked with Monarch Marketing Systems in Miamisburg, Ohio, and later at Time Warner Cable where she moved quickly from customer service to management. She then began a new path at Distinctive Interiors in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she became office manager. Linda also worked with Sonshine Cleaning LLC as the Operations Coordinator for the University of Dayton division. She retired in 2017 to travel the USA with her husband in their RV, fulfilling their shared dream and embracing adventures together.

Linda had a strong relationship with God. She grew up attending Bible Baptist Church in Xenia, Ohio, and continued attending Christian-based churches in person and online. She prayed every night—for her family, for the homeless, for our Presidents, and for safe travels for all those on the road or in the air. She often prayed to see signs from her parents in heaven, and was faithful to pray for others whenever asked.

As a teenager, Linda loved motorcycles, muscle cars, and dancing. She was fun, funny, and always left you smiling. Her strength, selflessness, humor, and deep devotion to her family especially to her grandchildren were just a few of her best traits. She was a full-time caregiver to her parents while working two jobs and supporting her children and grandchildren. She could roughhouse with the best of them and left her mark on the family for being tough, playful, and loving.

Linda loved Harley-Davidsons and began a dream life with her husband, hitting the road on their bike and sightseeing across the country. Her favorite place was the Grand Canyon—where she found deep peace and felt the presence of God’s creation. She often said, “Life doesn’t get better than this and doesn’t cost a thing to sightsee traveling on the back of a Harley!” Linda was famously frugal - “the only person who could live a week on a dollar.”

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Jeff Bush of Reading, Ohio; her children, Alliah Turner and TJ Turner; and her grandchildren: Brett West, Wyatt West, Madison Turner, Gabrielle Turner, and Owen Turner.

Survived by her siblings: Lois Cunningham (Kevin), Laura Foster, and Charles/Chuck Foster (Micki); nieces and nephews: Sabrina Amsberry (Blake), Bryan Erdmann, Brittany Schmidt, Jake Foster, Tony Foster; and great-nieces and nephews: Tatum Amsberry, Brooklyn Amsberry, Jacey Sue Schmidt, and Brayden Hobbs.

She is also remembered by her stepdaughter Chasity Bush, and step-grandson Jaden Bush.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Catherine Foster and great-nephew Maverick Chase Amsberry.

She was a compassionate dog mom and loved her fur babies deeply. They will meet her at the rainbow bridge.

Linda gave the ultimate gift of life by donating to save the lives of others. She was the true definition of a hero.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10 AM – 2 PM, April 26, 2025 at Jan’s Flower Studio, 344 East National Rd., Vandalia, OH 45377

Guests are invited to wear Harley Davidson clothes or colors in honor of Linda.
