BALL, Eric Daniel, born on March 22, 1982, accepted his invitation to go fishing at the perfect fishing hole on June 24, 2024. Always the life of the party, Eric knew how to have a good time and never had a dull moment. Whether he was out fishing or hunting with his sons, stargazing during a primitive camping trip, or lending a hand to anyone in need, he embodied the true spirit of an outdoorsman. A jack of all trades, he was the ultimate handy man. Eric put his family first and cherished every moment spent with them. He made many cherished memories with his family. Eric had a passion for fishing, including a memorable fishing trip to Canada and deep-sea fishing in Florida. A loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State, and the Bengals, sports held a special place in Eric’s heart.

Eric was deeply involved with his family, and centered his world around them. He was very close with his in-laws, and was immensely proud of his son Sean, who serves in the Navy, and his nephew Hunter, who serves in the Air Force.

Eric was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Byron and Donna Ball; maternal grandparents, Ora and Margaret Payne; beloved cousin, Anthony Ball; and father-in-law, Tony Reynoso. Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 21 years, Michelle Ball; children, Trenton, Devin, Sean, Eric II, and Ethan; loving father and mother, Steven and Peggy Ball; brother, Mathew (Adrienne) Ball; and sister, Katie (Doyle) Robinson. Eric was a loving uncle to Drake, Sage, Hunter (Kamari), Loren, Austin, Margaret “Meg”. Parker “Buster”, Ryleigh, Zaydyn “Zay”, and Tony James “TJ”. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Debbie Reynoso; brother-in-law, Matt (Stephanie) Reynoso; best friend turned brother, Bobby (Sarah) Carls III; and his beloved dog, Chase.

Family will greet friends from 11:00am-1:00pm on Monday, July 8 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., with Funeral Services commencing at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Eric will be laid to rest in David’s Cemetery. Eric did not like flowers, so the family requests donations to The American Kidney Fund or the Diabetes Foundation in lieu of flowers.

To honor Eric, please wear your Reds, Buckeyes, or Bengals apparel. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
