Helen Martin
September 26, 1949 — July 5, 2024

Helen Martin, age 74 of Bellbrook, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 at Troy Center Nursing Home & Rehab Care. She was born September 26, 1949 to the late James and Irene Pierce. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Martin; siblings, Wilma Leadingham, Gene Leadingham, Ray Leadingham, Orland Leadingham, Herbie Leadingham, and Ruth Ann Pierce.

Helen is survived by her son, Eric Martin; siblings, David Leadingham, Paul Leadingham, Mary Lou Williams, and Jim Pierce. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Helen was devoted to her faith and a member of Keystone Church of Kettering. She graduated from Greene High School and later retired from Lazarus Department Store and the Victoria Secret catalog call center. Helen was very social and enjoyed shopping or spending time at the beach. The most important thing to Helen was her family and spending quality time with her son, Eric. Helen is well loved and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel. Funeral Service will be officiated by pastor Joel Getts at 12:00 pm following visitation. Helen will then be laid to rest alongside Roger at David's Cemetery.
