Obituary

Beatrice E. Idiake, age 57 of West Carrollton, passed away March 14, 2024. She was born on March 21, 1966 in Nigeria to the late Oboh and Lucy Ogun. In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Idiake; her brothers, Barry and Jacob Ogun.

She is survived by her two children, Margaret (Michael) Omongbale and Peter Idiake; her three grandchildren, Michelle, Micah and Mikel Omongbale; siblings, Anna Iriase, Maria Omoigberale, Ofurena Adelaiye, John Ogun, Akhere Ogun, Odion Ogun, Idowu Ogun, Osefamen Moemeke and Christopher Ogun; best friend, Mrs. Grace Diohwo and numerous extended family and friends.

Beatrice worked for over 10 years at the University of Dayton. She loved to pray and cook for family and friends. Beatrice was a God-fearing woman of God. She devoted her life to her children and loved them dearly. Beatrice was a bright ray of light for all those she encountered.

She will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439) where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at David's Cemetery, Kettering.

Beatrice's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
