Obituary

Margaret Elizabeth Roark, age 85 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday morning, February 4th, 2024. Margaret was a long time employee of Dayton Internal Medicine/ Medisync, where she was known as the “Mom of Medisync.” Co-workers often remarked that Margaret was known for her giving personality, always leaving little goodies, gifts, or notes on their desks, and was always willing to help out in any way that she could. She enjoyed being a member of the Springboro Mother’s Club, and she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Springboro. Margaret's passion was her family, friends and three grandchildren. They were truly her pride and joy. Margaret, along with her late husband Bill, never missed any of their grandchildrens’ activities.

Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 ½ years Bill Roark, her parents Urban and Luella Schoen, sister Nancy Santoro, brother’s in law Tim Murphy and Mike Santoro. She is survived by her son Chris (Cammie) Roark, grandsons; Christopher (Maggie), Corey (Ashleigh) and Cameron (Audrey), great grandchildren; Kinleigh Grace, Blaike Olivia, Cole Michael and Rowe William Roark, sister Virginia Osburn, sister Linda Murphy and brother Billy (Rose) Schoen, brother-in-law Bob Roark, many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great -nephews, cousins and devoted friends.

Family to receive friends 11:00 am to noon Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Avenue at Rahn Road, Dayton, Ohio 45429; where service will be held 12:00 p.m. Pastor Joe Royer officiating.
