LANDIS, Donald K., 85, of Lebanon, OH passed away Friday, March 8, 2024. Don was born on October 22, 1938, to the late Carl and Viola (nee Bower) Landis, in Dayton, OH. He was a 1956 graduate of Roosevelt High School. Don had a long career as an electrician with General Motors and NCR and was especially proud to work with Charles Kettering and Col. Deeds. Along with his wife, Sharon, he was a proprietor of Landis Antiques, in Lebanon, and they could often be found perusing antique auctions near and far. Together they also enjoyed gardening at home and traveling, but most of all, they enjoyed spending time with their family, especially their beloved grandchildren. Don will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon Landis; sisters, Phyllis Lusa and Loraine “Rainy” Garman; brother, Carl Landis; and granddaughter, Alicia Clark.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Keith (Debbie) Landis and Kevin (Karen) Landis; grandchildren; Sarah (Mike) Johnson, Kelley (Leonard) Palaspas, Brad (Lynsey) Landis; great-grandchildren; Dylan (Renzhi) Clark, Breanna (Tre Reid) Clark-Ludlum, Keegan Fowler, Connor and Cody Johnson, Kayden Palaspas, Chloe and Eli Landis; 4 great-great- grandchildren; sister, Karen Hayes; sister-in-law, Judy Landis; brother-in-law; Terry Lane; and numerous extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4-6pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with a memorial service to be held following at 6pm. Don’s family would like to thank the staff of Kettering Medical Center for the care they provided. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that guests plant a tree in remembrance of Don.
