Harold E. Jones, born on May 18, 1933, in Dayton Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 19 2024. Harold's life was marked by dedication to both his family and his career. He also served his country in the Army during the Korean War.

Harold retired from General Motors, where he contributed his skills and knowledge for many years. Harold loved crocheting, old cars, and traveling to warm climates. He also enjoyed riding his Sea-Doo.

Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth Ella Jones; parents, Jack and Ruby Jones; and infant son, Teddy Edward Jones.

He is survived by his children: Timothy (Karen) Jones, Thomas Jones, Tammy (Wade) Sharp, and Tyler (Lisa) Jones; daughter-in-law, Vickie Wood; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Angie (Will) Woody, Patricia Jones, Stephanie (Mark) Knapke, Aaron (Madison) Jones, Brooke Sharp, Mara Sharp; great grandchildren, Kayla, Justice, and Theo who will remember him fondly for the love and lively stories he provided throughout their lives.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 11 am to 12 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH 45459). Funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Burial will follow in David's Cemetery.
