Nancy Fuls Teal, beloved wife, mother, teacher and friend passed away on Feb 28, 2025 at the
age of 82 of kidney failure. She departed peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.

Nancy was born on May 3, 1942 in Dayton Ohio to her parents Jesse Eugene and Margarite
Miller Fuls. As a playful child she adored dressing up as a rugged cowgirl and by high school,
matured into a lovely young woman as an attendant on the Dayton Holiday at Home Parade
float. She graduated from Fairmont High School in Kettering, OH in 1960. She continued her
studies obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 1964 from Miami University,
Oxford OH.

future husband, David on a successful blind date. They welcomed a son, David Brian after
being stationed in Germany with the military and two years later, welcomed a daughter, Robin.
Nancy loved being a teacher and continued teaching in a disability program at Central Middle
School, Fairborn, OH after being stationed overseas.

Nancy was an active military wife, serving in many roles in the Military Wives Club surrounded
by many friends she made over the years. Nancy was a devoted horsewoman and owned many
Morgan horses over her lifetime. She rode and showed in dressage and enjoyed studying horse
care. She was proud to be owned by many beloved cats that were her steady and loving
companions throughout her lifetime. She loved to travel and she and David were fortunate to
explore many parts of the world, with the Rhine River in Germany being one of her favorites.
She and David caught the RV bug and traveled from coast to coast seeing the beauty of the
USA on long and leisurely trips with the national parks and Winnebego conventions as some of
the highlights.

Nancy was a devoted mother to her two surviving children and went on to be an equally devoted
grandmother to her 9 grandchildren. She reveled in story times, Disney trips, morning preschool
drop-offs, movie matinees, beach vacations and trips to DC with her grandchildren. She is
survived by her husband, Lt. General (Ret.) David J. Teal; her children, David (Christy) and
Robin (Jim); her grandchildren, Danielle (Alec), Claire (Sebastian), Jack, James, James Bian,
