Obituary
Agatha A. (nee Mungo) Ferrari, aged 87, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away at Austin Trace Health and Rehabilitation, on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Anna Mungo; Her beloved husband of 58 years, Raymond Ferrari; Sister, Pauline Gibney; and her son-in-law, Edward Krawczonek, and her beloved dog, Jasmine.
Agatha is survived by her children: Lenore Krawczonek and Martin “Marty” (Susan) Ferrari; Her grandchildren: Christine (Raul) Quintanilla, James Ferrari, Katy (Mark) Fuerst, and Kallie (Mike) Guciardo; and her great grandchildren: Giovanni and Matteo Quintanilla, Phoenix, Hendrix, and Lennox Fuerst, and Benjamin and Zachary Guciardo.
Agatha worked as a bank teller and worked her way up to being a customer service representative. She loved this job because she was able to talk to so many people. Agatha loved to feed everyone, no matter if they were full or on a diet. She was a phenomenal cook and taught her grandchildren her techniques and recipes. She embraced her Italian heritage to the fullest and was a devout Catholic, praying to St. Anthony and the Sacred Heart.
Agatha was the Queen, the matriarch of her family and their world. She loved her family so much, (although, most would say she loved her dog, Jasmine, the most). She was loud, crazy, and fun and everyone that knew her, loved her. She was a force to be reckoned with; strong-willed and a fighter, as she survived covid and other illnesses while being compromised with COPD.
A visitation for Agatha will be held Monday, January 13, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432. A mass of Christian burial will occur Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave, Centerville, Ohio 45459. She will be laid to rest in David's Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Rd, Kettering, Ohio 45429, following mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Agatha’s name to SICSA, as Agatha loved animals https://www.sicsa.org/individual-giving/general-donations/ .
