Christopher Thomas Ventura, a talented graphic designer and logistics expert, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 10, 2024. He was born on July 25, 1976, in Kettering, Ohio, where he began a life characterized by creativity, intelligence, and a caring spirit.

Chris was currently employed at Bonbright Distributors, where he utilized his skills as a graphic designer. His innovative thinking and tech-savvy nature allowed him to excel in his role, and he was known for being level-headed and a friend to all who knew him. Beyond his professional pursuits, Chris possessed a spiritual side that influenced his interactions and relationships, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to cross his path.

His hobbies reflected his appreciation for the arts and nature. An avid photographer and a passionate drawer, Chris expressed himself through various forms of creativity. He also enjoyed the outdoors, finding joy in traveling, going on walks, and connecting with nature. His love for animals was evident in his life as a caretaker for his beloved dogs, Newman and Cosmo, who were cherished companions. A passionate supporter of Notre Dame Fighting Irish football, Chris often shared his enthusiasm for the team with those around him, further illustrating his spirited personality.

Chris was a devoted son to his father, Peter Ventura, and was a loving brother to Don (Carolyn) Ventura. He also took great pride in being an uncle to his nephews, Travis (Haley) Waller and Matthew Ventura. Chris's relationships with his family were marked by affection and loyalty, and his kindness and humor will be sorely missed by them and many others.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Ventura, whose memory he honored in life. Chris also remembered his deceased canine companions—Zorich, Thor, and Zeus.

Chris leaves behind a legacy of warmth, artistry, and profound connections. He will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and colleagues for his intelligence, spiritual outlook, and the joy he brought into the lives of others.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at David's Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Rd.
